A tree is what I want to be
For all the lands to see
When I lay in the soil
Others don’t see my internal boil
As I grow roots deeper than the earth
I shout gratefulness for my birth
As I grow older I see how my trunk
Builds branches that have a little spunk
When I feel a stall to becoming tall
I branch out to my forest so I don’t fall
As I weave through my fellow friends
My color brightens to the trends
So we become a forest that branches out
To share our strength in the future we all shout!
