Kids & Family Game Day
Building Confidence Through Connection
Stutter Navigator’s Kids & Family Game Day is a community-centered event designed to empower children who stutter and strengthen families through meaningful connection.
This event creates a safe, supportive environment where children can meet peers who share similar experiences — often for the first time — and where parents can connect with others navigating the same journey.

Time: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: Des Pres Park
Rain Backup Location: Ascension Grade School Gym (TBD)
Event Experience
Participants can expect:

Structured icebreakers and group activities

Life-size interactive games

Guided opportunities for peer connection

Parent networking time

Lunch provided
The morning is intentionally designed to be welcoming and encouraging — focused on community, not clinical intervention.

Whether your family is newly navigating stuttering or has been on this journey for years, this event offers space for connection and shared understanding.
Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome volunteers (18+) who are passionate about supporting children and families in the stuttering community. Roles include:

Family check-in and greeting

Activity facilitation

Youth support and encouragement

Event logistics
Individuals who stutter, Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and community members are encouraged to participate.
